Position Overview
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing digital content and marketing campaigns that drive engagement, website traffic, and vehicle sales. This role combines content creation, social media management, SEO, and digital advertising, making it ideal for someone who is both creative and analytical.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
- Create, film, edit, and publish engaging social media videos for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other emerging channels.
- Develop creative content ideas that showcase inventory, customer testimonials, dealership promotions, community involvement, and behind-the-scenes activities.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule across all social media platforms.
- Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries when required.
- Stay current with social media trends and implement new content strategies.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve website rankings and organic traffic.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize website content, vehicle descriptions, blog articles, and landing pages.
- Monitor website performance using analytics and SEO tools.
- Implement local SEO strategies to increase visibility within Windsor-Essex and surrounding markets.
- Track rankings, traffic, and lead generation metrics.
Digital Marketing & Advertising
- Assist in creating and managing paid advertising campaigns across Google, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
- Analyze campaign performance and recommend improvements based on data.
- Create promotional campaigns for sales events, community partnerships, and dealership initiatives.
- Manage email marketing campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.
Website & Brand Management
- Ensure website content remains current, accurate, and optimized.
- Coordinate updates to inventory marketing and online listings.
- Maintain consistent branding across all digital channels.
- Identify opportunities to improve user experience and lead conversion.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of digital marketing, social media, content creation, or related experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing business social media accounts.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is considered an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Photography and videography experience is considered an asset.
- Automotive industry experience is preferred but not required.
