Service Technician – Mechanical and Electrical - PERMANENT
A leading distributor of janitorial cleaning supplies, chemicals, equipment, and accessories is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented technician to provide exemplary service to its clients in the Belleville and surrounding areas.
Position Overview
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of janitorial equipment, including vacuums, floor polishers, carpet extractors, and battery-powered floor scrubbers.
Your role includes both on-site service calls and in-shop repairs at the Belleville location.
You are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, physically capable, and take pride in delivering high-quality service to customers.
In addition to repairs, you will assist with tracking and monitoring parts inventory to ensure efficient service operations.
Your Qualifications & Skills
- Experienced in diagnosing and repairing janitorial or similar equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems
- Experienced with small engines, pressure washers, or propane equipment is an asset
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to track and monitor inventory levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset
- Basic computer skills are required
