Unity Sod Farm is a sod producing farm. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join us.
Job Duties:
-Operate and maintain large machinery, including but not limited to sod harvester, lift truck , loader ,seeder,mowing plant fertilization, watering survey and assess sod
-daily preventative maintenance and repair of equipment and grounds
-daily harvest field operations
-assist other team members in achieving farm goals
-G license AZ an asset
-experience in farming
-capability to perform physically demanding labour crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads and working long hours
-must be able to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
-meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
-must be a team player and work independently as required
-client and quality focus
-excellent problem-solving abilities
-responsibility and dependablility
-ethics and integrity
-plan in a effective manner to ensure optimum job efficiency and effectiveness
-the knowledge, care and production of turf grass plants, soils, and pests as well as the principles of care and management and weather management
-adhere to current industry safety standards and practices
-environmental principles for pesticide applications
