Your impact
As an HR Manager, you are a a true generalist who likes exposure to all areas of HR. You have a passion for developing learning and development programs with a focus on improving organization performance. You’ll craft policies and programs, guiding the team to boost employee engagement, productivity, and company goals. Your role includes shaping HR strategies, managing talent, handling labour relations, grievances, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. You will establish relationships, trust, and credibility with senior management to align HR initiatives with company objectives, foster a positive workplace culture, and drive the success of our organization in the dynamic trucking industry.
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40 hours
Your daily adventures
- Develop and implement comprehensive employee relations strategies to address and resolve workplace conflicts effectively.Develops and delivers internal staff communications.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and labor laws while managing compliance and risk
- Organizational Culture and Change Management: Foster a positive organizational culture and lead change management efforts to support company transformations and employee adaptation.
- Ensure proper handling of employee grievances and disciplinary actions, following company procedures and legal guidelines.
What you will bring
- Strong all around HR experience
- A passion for some project work and making a difference
- Strong leadership skills, and the ability to work well with a decentralized HR team
- Learning and development knowledge and experience
- Comfortable with making presentations or conducting training
- Labour relations including participation in collective bargaining negotiations

We would like candidates to have
- 5-7 years HR experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- CPHR, CHRP, CHRL or equivalent certification required
