Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard / Security Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible security presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Investigate alarms or disturbances and act accordingly
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
Qualifications:
- Be eligible to obtain a security license (no closed work permit),
- Have No past criminal history (will need RCMP record check report),
- Be physically fit, and have a reliable vehicle.
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems (CCTV)
- High school diploma is required; additional certification is a plus
Preferred Skills
- De-escalating potentially violent situations.
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention.
- Closed Circuit Television CCTV Training.
- Experience in Security Jobs, loss prevention techniques
- Proficiency in surveillance methods.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
