Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement activities within our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, sourcing materials, and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services essential for production. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain processes, ERP systems, Odoo and negotiation strategies to optimize costs and maintain operational efficiency. The Purchasing Manager will play a critical role in supporting our company's growth by ensuring seamless procurement operations aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet manufacturing needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure favorable conditions.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP to process purchase orders, track inventory levels, and manage procurement workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, logistics, and finance to forecast demand and plan procurement activities.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and supply chain risks to proactively address potential disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, supplier information, and contractual agreements.
- Lead procurement initiatives in alignment with company goals for quality, cost reduction, and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to procurement and vendor management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management within the Asian Beauty industry.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; experience with MRP systems is highly desirable.
- Expertise in vendor management, sourcing strategies, pricing negotiations, and procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to establish mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
- Familiarity with supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
- Ability to analyze market data and leverage ERP tools for strategic decision-making.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications are a plus.
- Been in the management for at least 3 - 5 years
- Ability to speak Chinese because communication with oversea vendor is required.
Pay: $46,806.97-$62,400.00 per year
