Job Overview
The Trust Account Coordinator administers resident trust accounts, ensuring financial transactions are completed accurately, ethically, and in accordance with internal controls. The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, demonstrates exceptional integrity, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Process and record resident financial transactions with complete supporting documentation.
- Prepare resident budgets and monitor spending to ensure financial sustainability and compliance with funding guidelines.
- Complete month-end reconciliations of bank accounts, cash balances, and trust account activity.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
- Submit applications and required documentation for government assistance programs.
- Maintain accurate financial records and audit-ready documentation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, applicable legislation, internal controls, and audit standards.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents' families and guardians regarding financial matters.
- Demonstrate the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Related diploma or degree is considered an asset.
- CPIC with Vulnerable Sector Clearance is required.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
