Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver / Kitchen Helper (chopping vegetables) to join our team. No experience necessary will train the right person. This role involves delivering orders efficiently while assisting in the kitchen with various tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, physical stamina, and experience in warehouse or commercial driving environments. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport food and supplies to customers and vendors
- Timely and accurate delivery of orders, maintaining high customer service standards
- Assist in the kitchen with moving supplies, ingredients, and equipment as needed
- Load and unload deliveries, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and storage areas
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
Requirements
- Available Monday to Thursday 8AM to 5PM
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform lifting up to 25kg and physical moving tasks regularly
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Previous experience in customer service or food delivery is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable transportation for daily shifts and deliveries
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move items throughout the shift
- References from previous employer
This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations both in delivery logistics and kitchen support, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Pay: $18.25-$21.00 per hour
