We are seeking a dedicated Baking Assistant to join our bakery team night shift. Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients for baked goods
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and other kitchen tools safely and efficiently
- Package baked items for sale while maintaining quality standards
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Support the team with general kitchen duties, including cleaning and organizing supplies
Experience
- Previous experience in a bakery, restaurant, or food preparation environment is preferred but not required
- Skills in decorating, food handling, and food safety are highly desirable
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food industry standards is advantageous
- Experience in food presentation and packaging will be considered a plus
- A strong interest in baking and culinary arts is essential for success in this role
