We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable Garage Door Technician Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning a skilled trade, and working in a variety of residential and commercial environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of:
- Garage doors
- Garage door openers
- Commercial doors
- Gate systems
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
- Safely use hand and power tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow company safety procedures and policies.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
- Reliable transportation to and from our office each day.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
- Experience using common hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Assets (Not Required)
- Mechanical experience.
- Carpentry experience.
- Electrical experience.
- Previous garage door, construction, or service industry experience.
