Job Overview:
We are looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Servers to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
As a Server, you will be responsible for providing attentive and professional service, taking food and beverage orders accurately, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. We are seeking reliable team members who can multitask effectively, work well under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude during busy service periods.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and drinks while ensuring quality and presentation standards
- Use the POS system (Micros POS preferred) for orders and payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service
- Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues when needed
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Assist with opening, closing, and side duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of restaurant serving experience is required. Applications without serving experience will not be considered.
- Previous experience in a full-service restaurant, pub, or bar environment is strongly preferred
- Experience using POS systems (Micros POS experience is an asset)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol service practices
- Smart Serve Certification is required or must be obtained before starting employment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night shifts
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when required
