Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and restoring BBQ's of varying types and sizes. This role requires experience in physical labor, good work ethic, attention to detail, strong communication skills and effective time management. Must have driver's license and full time access to a car.
Work term is July - October
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for various cleaning tasks, ensuring all equipment is maintained in good working condition.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in compliance with facility guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any issues that arise.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns from facility occupants promptly and professionally.
- Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
Qualifications
- Must have driver's license and full time access to a car.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in cleaning and maintenance tasks is an asset.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to perform some heavy lifting as required
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all tasks performed.
