Third Academy/InBus
School Bus Driver
Third Academy is a fully accredited, designated special education private education school operating under the school authority of Third Schools (Third Academy International Ltd.). Founded on September 1, 1997, Dr S. Lal Mattu opened his dream school, one that would serve the needs of the kids that often fell through the cracks of public education, and the ones that needed the most help.
For over 30 years, our focus has been on healing, inspiring, and educating children with various abilities to ensure they gain the emotional, social, behavioral, and learning skills that will support them throughout their lives. With a dedicated team of professionals - teachers, psychologists, SLP/OT therapists, instructional support staff and school bus drivers - we are able to deliver exceptional learning in a caring and compassionate environment.
Our children come from all over the Calgary and surrounding area to access our school and the supports it provides and as a result we need to maintain a fleet of buses to get them to and from school in safe manner.
We call our transportation system InBus as we are an independent transportation provider that is not affiliated with the for profit carriers. While we primarily serve Third Academy students, we provide services for Third Academy's sister schools, LYNX, and ursa. InBus services are also available on a charter basis to other school systems and the organizations.
