Commercial Analyst & Project Manager

About the Role
Original Foods is a growing food manufacturer based in the Niagara Region. We are looking for a driven and versatile individual to join our commercial team in a role that combines analytical rigor, project coordination, and customer-facing responsibilities.

What You Will Do
- Pricing & Commercial Analysis
- Develop and maintain product costing models and pricing frameworks
- Prepare pricing proposals and cost justifications for customer discussions
- Analyze customer and SKU profitability to support commercial decisions
- Support price increase submissions with clear, data-driven rationale
- Build ad hoc analyses and business cases as needed by the commercial team
Project Management
- Coordinate cross-functional projects involving sales, operations, and finance
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and action items
- Follow up with internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
- Support new product launches and customer onboarding from a commercial perspective
Sales Administration & Account Support
- Manage a portfolio of smaller customer accounts, serving as primary point of contact
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and commercial documentation
- Maintain pricing records, customer files, and commercial databases
- Support the sales team with reporting, meeting preparation, and follow-up
- Liaise with operations and logistics to ensure customer requirements are met
- Manage the CRM

Assets:
- Experience in food manufacturing, CPG, or a related industry
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems
- Background in pricing, finance, or business analysis
- Experience managing customer accounts or supporting a sales team
Education
A post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
