Project Manager — Commercial Masonry | HS Masonry Inc. | Vernon, BC
HS Masonry Inc. is a commercial masonry contractor operating across Western Canada, delivering brick, block, and stone on commercial builds — schools, hospitals, multi-family, and industrial. We are expanding into new markets and hiring a Project Manager to take full ownership of large commercial masonry projects from award through close-out.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned commercial masonry projects: schedule, budget, scope, quality, and documentation
- Serve as primary point of contact for General Contractors and project stakeholders Develop and enforce site-specific document control, H&S, and QC plans in partnership with field supervision
- Produce and submit monthly progress draws; track and report financial performance to ownership
- Review and approve shop drawings and RFIs; manage sub-trades, materials, and procurement
- Coordinate field crews and foremen on manpower planning and schedule adherence
- Apply AI-assisted and digital tools to improve project delivery, and actively seek further efficiencies
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in the commercial masonry or construction industry
- Proven financial and schedule accountability on large commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, submittals, RFIs, and progress billing Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with construction PM and digital takeoff software
- Willing to learn and apply AI-assisted tools for estimating, scheduling, and reporting
- Formal masonry training or PM education considered an asset
- Valid driver's license; willingness to travel within Western Canada
What We Offer
- Base salary $90,000–$115,000, commensurate with experience
- Performance bonus structure and vehicle allowance
