We are seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer or Rotating Equipment SME to provide technical expertise on the design, operation, maintenance, and reliability of rotating machinery.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority for rotating equipment.
- Review equipment specifications, calculations, drawings, and vendor documentation.
- Support equipment selection, procurement, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment performance, vibration, alignment, lubrication, and reliability issues.
- Lead root-cause investigations and recommend repairs or equipment improvements.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering, maintenance, operations, and project teams.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 20+ years experience with pumps, compressors, turbines, generators, motors, fans, etc.
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment design, maintenance, condition monitoring, and failure analysis.
- Experience in power generation, nuclear, oil and gas, mining, or heavy industry.
- P.Eng. designation and nuclear experience are considered strong assets.
Pay: $85.00-$100.00 per hour
