Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to specified recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assist in meal preparation during busy service periods, maintaining consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Monitor stock levels and notify management of any shortages or needs for reordering
- Support the team during service by serving dishes promptly and accurately
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks within the kitchen environment
Experience
- Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is preferred
- Experience with meal preparation and serving in a busy setting will be beneficial
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
