In this role, you will:
Dispatch staff to do safe needle collections on public land
Serve as a front-line point of contact to internal and public inquiries
Prepare letters, invitations, mail outs and promotional materials
Create and manage spreadsheets of data, including creating detailed reports
Process invoices, prepare cheque requisitions and help to create requests for proposals
Schedule meetings, prepare required meeting agendas, record and distribute meeting minutes
Contribute towards a positive and safety conscious work environment
Other related duties as required
Qualifications
:
Completion of Grade 12 including business subjects related to data entry or completion of an appropriate certificate program
A minimum 2 years of diversified office and word processing experience, including records management, minute taking, meeting preparation, and writing correspondence, reports and written responses to the public
Ability to maintain accurate records. Superior editing and proofreading skills are required
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
Ability to prioritize work efficiently and accurately process large volumes of requests
Excellent communication, organizational, time management and prioritization skills are required
Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision; must be able to maintain confidentiality and integrity of all documents coming through and out of the office
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Platform is required; experience with POSSE and SAP are considered assets
Hire is dependent upon a Police Information Check satisfactory to the City of Edmonton

Salary: $23.664 - $29.385 (Hourly); $41,690.050 - $51,769.020 (Annually)
