Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fence Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fence installation and possess a strong understanding of various construction techniques. This role involves working on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring fences are installed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Candidates should be detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship. (MUST OWN VEHICLE)
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine fence layout and specifications
- Measure and mark installation sites accurately using hand tools and measuring devices
- Operate power tools such as post drivers, drills, saws, and other equipment necessary for fence installation
- Set posts securely in concrete or other foundation materials, ensuring proper alignment and levelness
- Install various types of fencing materials including wood, vinyl, chain link, or ornamental fences according to project specifications
- Use caulking and masonry skills for sealing joints or securing posts where necessary
- Assist with site preparation including clearing areas and setting up safety barriers
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on-site
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fence installation or related construction fields
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings effectively
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, and masonry techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with construction estimating and carpentry skills is advantageous
- Experience operating heavy equipment or machinery relevant to construction projects is preferred
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid <PERSON> license or certification is desirable but not mandatory depending on project requirements
