R&B Plumbing and Heating is currently looking for Journeymen/Journeywomen Plumbing and Gas Technicians to join our vibrant team. We are a one-stop, local solution providing services and installations on the North Shore, Vancouver, and Burnaby. Your Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems including heat pumps, boilers, furnaces, hi-velocity, etc. in residential settings and light commercial properties
- Install water heaters, heating equipment, heat pump systems, fixtures, drainage, and piping systems in retrofit properties and construction projects
- Adhere to current code and regulations related to plumbing and natural gas so that systems pass inspection the first time
- Provide exemplary customer service to all clients
- Educate homeowners on recommended maintenance and repair for their homes
Your Qualifications:
- Gas Fitter Licence (B)
- Current, Locally Valid, Plumbing Journeyman/Journeywoman trade ticket (Red Seal)
- 3+ years’ Journeyman/Journeywoman experience
- Experienced at installing plumbing and mechanical systems
- Understanding of current code and regulations within the field
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver’s license N or better
- Own personal hand tools
- Live within 10km of North Vancouver
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $41.00-$55.00 per hour
