Job Summary:
The Roofing Project Manager will oversee all aspects of roofing projects from initiation to completion. This role involves managing project schedules, budgets, and teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Roofing Project Manager will also be responsible for maintaining client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Schedule and conduct regular project meetings to monitor progress and address any issues.
- Lead and manage a team of roofing professionals, including subcontractors and laborers.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team members are performing effectively.
- Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
- Oversee the quality of all roofing work to ensure it meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Monitor project budgets and control expenses to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Provide regular updates to clients on project status, including any changes or delays.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement safety measures to protect workers and property.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Skills/Qualification:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in roofing project management or a similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing roofing projects from start to finish.
- Drivers license is an asset.
- Personal transportation considered an asset.
- - Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent project planning and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to indenfity issues and able to resolve in a timley manner.
- Ability to lift heavy items, work outdoors with unexpected forecasts.
- Follow health and safety protocols and communicate with team members.
- Intermediate English skills
