In-Game Host – Surrey Eagles Hockey Club
Position Overview:
The Surrey Eagles Hockey Club is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and passionate individual to serve as our In-Game Host for the upcoming season. This role is responsible for helping create an exciting and engaging game-day atmosphere for fans, sponsors, players, and community members during all home games and special events.
The ideal candidate is confident speaking in front of large crowds, comfortable on camera, and able to bring enthusiasm and entertainment to the Surrey Eagles game experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary in-arena personality during Surrey Eagles home games
* Engage with fans throughout the game using live announcements, contests, promotions, and crowd interaction
* Host sponsor activations, giveaways, and intermission activities
* Conduct on-camera interviews and fan features when required
* Assist with creating a fun, energetic, and family-friendly atmosphere* Work closely with game operations, marketing staff, DJ, and production crew to execute the game script
* Help promote Surrey Eagles events, community initiatives, and upcoming games* Maintain professionalism while representing the Surrey Eagles brand at all times
Qualifications:
* Strong public speaking and communication skills
* High energy, outgoing personality, and confidence in front of crowds
* Comfortable improvising and adapting during live events
* Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the hockey season
* Experience in hosting, entertainment, sports presentation, radio, broadcasting, or live events is considered an asset
* Knowledge and passion for hockey and sports entertainment preferred

Compensation:
Compensation will be discussed based on experience.
