Outside Sales Representative – Landscaping & Property Maintenance
Location: Markham, Vaughan & Richmond Hill, ON
Employment Type: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)
Start Date: July 1st week
Compensation: $28 hour start + Commission (3%–5%)
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to generate new business opportunities within the commercial property sector. The successful candidate will focus on selling landscaping, grounds maintenance, parking lot maintenance, interlocking, pavers, garden bed installations, and related services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct B2B sales targeting commercial buildings and property managers.
- Complete approximately 20 in-person sales drop-offs per day.
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities.
- Manage leads, pipeline activities, and customer interactions using Jobber CRM.
- Prepare proposals and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Build long-term client relationships and identify upselling opportunities.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in landscaping, maintenance, construction, or related industries.
- Proven ability to generate new business and close sales.
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $20–$30 per hour.
- Commission: 3%–5% on sales generated.
- Top performers can earn up to $5,000+ per month in commissions.
- Higher compensation range available for exceptional sales professionals who can bring an existing book of business and generate approximately $600,000 in sales within the first 120 days.
- Mileage reimbursement available (gas receipts required when using a personal vehicle).
- Company vehicle may be provided based on business requirements.
