Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Entry-Level Administrative Support Assistant & Office Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in office operations, clerical tasks, and customer service within a professional environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a positive attitude to support daily administrative functions. Prior experience with office software and customer support is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage front desk duties such as greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and directing calls appropriately.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and coordinating meetings.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks for various administrative tasks.
- Support bookkeeping activities and handle basic financial documentation as needed.
- Maintain organized records and ensure files are up-to-date in both digital and physical formats.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding professionally to inquiries and supporting clients or patients as required.
- Perform clerical duties such as copying, scanning, and preparing correspondence or reports.
- Support medical or dental office operations if applicable, including managing patient information and appointment scheduling.
Qualifications
- Prior office experience or clerical background is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for essential functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and basic computer skills.
- Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills for front desk interactions and client support.
- Attention to detail for data entry, proofreading, and document management tasks.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.
- Basic knowledge of medical or dental office procedures is advantageous but not required.
This position provides valuable experience in administrative operations across various industries while supporting a dynamic team committed to excellence in service delivery.
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
