  • Confirm employees well-being before shift begins
  • Confirm employees have the correct PPE for the start of the shift and that any specified equipment is being used correctly
  • Actively promotes, understands and enforces all relevant safety rules
  • Responsible for the health and safety of all employees under your direction
  • Perform first aid as required


  • Ensures that ISO9001:2008 procedures and work instructions are adhered to, understood and updated as required
  • Ensures that the correct tools are being used to inspect the quality of the product being produced
  • Reports all non-conformances to the Quality Department
  • Ensures application techniques are maintained to Durisol standards
  • Ensures moulds are acceptable for use

  • Ensures employees are in their respective work areas at the start of the shift
  • Ensures that productivity targets are met on a daily basis
  • Ensures that panels are completed as per the schedule as not to miss customer shipments
  • Ensures work orders are completed correctly and returned to the proper location at the end of each shift
  • Order required materials through the Production Supervisor
  • Determines suitability of raw materials, rebar, inserts and attachments and reports and rejects non-conforming items
  • Ensures that moulds are acceptable for use in production and arranges for repairs as required through the Production Supervisor
  • Ensures moulds are properly identified before being moved to storage locations
  • Ensures that employees are using the correct materials and specifications for each specific job
  • Gives direction to the forklift operator in their respective area
  • Works with the Production Supervisor to ensure that the proper number of employees exist within the department
  • Organize and schedule production in consultation with the Production Supervisor
  • Train and assist hourly employees for the position they are working in
  • Participate in interviews for prospective employees
  • Participates on CAR teams as required
  • Support projects as required to generate business results and expand skill set
  • Recommendations for disciplinary action in conjunction with Production Supervisor
  • Ensure that the plant floor is a showcase for our customers
  • Any other duties and/or projects as assigned by the Supervisor/Foreman.

Specific Qualifications:

  • OHS Competent Person Training
  • First Aid and CPR training
  • Ability to Interpret Product Drawings
  • Ability to work other shifts as required
  • Valid Forklift License
  • Overhead Crane Training

Additional Information:

  • Physical Effort – Time is spent in a plant atmosphere and outdoors, depending upon priorities of the day. Requires frequent periods of bending, standing and walking and does require the ability to move light to moderate material or equipment.
  • Physical Environment – Normal outdoor work environment which could include exposure to adverse weather conditions, dust, noise etc. Some stress due to adherence to deadlines, which may require some overtime.
  • Mental Stress – There is routine pressure from various sources to achieve results. Occasional extra pressure can be experienced as a result of unforeseen events and decisions creating conflict.
  • Sensory Attention – A great deal of attention, both seeing and hearing, is required at all times. Many unusual occurrences can happen several times over the course of a day. The risk of accidents occurring is present. Attention must be given to accident potential in all areas of the plant and shipping yard

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 /hour
