Pickleball Community Moderator (Remote / Part-Time)
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pickleball Community Moderator to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about pickleball, digital marketing, and community engagement. The moderator will be responsible for fostering a positive online environment, managing social media platforms, and supporting community growth through various digital channels. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and familiarity with digital marketing tools to effectively engage with our audience and promote the sport.
Duties
- Monitor and moderate online communities related to pickleball across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and forums.
- Create engaging content to promote pickleball events, tips, and community stories using Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Manage social media scheduling and posting through applications like Hootsuite and Buffer.
- Conduct keyword research to optimize content for SEO and improve visibility.
- Develop graphics and visual content that align with brand standards using graphic design skills.
- Engage with community members by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assist in planning digital marketing campaigns utilizing Facebook Advertising and Google Analytics insights.
- Proofread all content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand voice.
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for growing online presence and increasing community participation.
Skills
- Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency in SEO strategies and keyword research techniques.
- Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer (application).
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles including Facebook Advertising and Google Analytics.
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure high-quality content.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote work environment.
- Passion for pickleball or sports communities is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on community engagement.
