About Snaggos
Snaggos is a Vancouver-based local deals platform connecting shoppers with real-time offers from verified local merchants. We work with restaurants, cafes, salons, nail bars, retail shops, and neighbourhood service businesses across Metro Vancouver. The platform is completely free for merchants — no commissions, no fees, ever.
The Role
You will find local merchants, introduce Snaggos, and get them to their first live deal. That is the job. You are not doing admin — you are in the field, having conversations, following up, and closing activations.
A Content student may join some merchant visits to capture onboarding footage. You coordinate timing when that happens; your focus stays on activation.
What You Will Do
- Identify and approach local merchants across a defined geographic area (confirmed with team at start)
- Introduce Snaggos in person, by phone, or by email — follow up until the merchant is ready to proceed
- Walk merchants through onboarding and first deal setup
- Coordinate visit timing with the Content student when content capture is planned
- Track all leads, conversations, and activation status in the shared CRM
- Report completed activations weekly and pass merchant feedback to the Snaggos team
- Represent Snaggos professionally at all times with business owners and managers
Compensation
Commission is earned per verified Qualified Merchant Activation only. There is no base pay.
- $10 per Qualified Merchant Activation
- $100 milestone bonus for every 25 Qualified Merchant Activations
A Qualified Merchant Activation is defined as: a merchant not previously registered on Snaggos who is successfully onboarded AND posts at least one approved live deal on the platform. Snaggos verifies each activation before commission is paid.
Example: 25 activations = $250 in commissions + $100 milestone bonus = $350.
Payout schedule, duplicate merchant rules, and all contractor terms are confirmed in a written contractor agreement before any work begins. Worker classification under BC employment law will be assessed based on the actual working relationship, not job title alone.
Long-Term Opportunity
As Snaggos scales, strong contributors may be considered for future full-time roles, performance bonuses, or long-term incentive arrangements. This is not a guarantee — it is subject to business growth, role fit, and company policy at that time.
Who We Are Looking For
- Comfortable and confident speaking with business owners and managers
- Follows up consistently — you do not drop a lead after one visit
- Self-directed: manages your own schedule and pipeline without daily oversight
- Interested in sales, business development, local commerce, or startup growth
- Familiarity with Greater Vancouver neighbourhoods is a genuine asset
- Experience in sales, hospitality, retail, or community outreach is an asset
