We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and organized Floral Warehouse Associate to join our busy wholesale flower operation in Calgary.
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced floral warehouse. The successful candidate will be someone who takes initiative, works efficiently, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable staying busy throughout their shift. Previous flower experience is an asset, but full floral knowledge can be learned on the job.
Schedule
- Friday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Monday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Approximately 35 hours per week, with some flexibility required depending on business needs, cargo arrivals and seasonal fluctations.
Responsibilities
The Floral Warehouse Associate will assist with the day-to-day operation of our floral warehouse, including:
- Washing and sanitizing flower buckets
- Processing flowers and preparing product for orders
- Packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- General warehouse duties and organization
- Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse
- Working in a floral cooler maintained at approximately 4°C, as well as at room temperature
- Filling buckets with water and moving flower product throughout the warehouse
- Moving carts and flower orders
- Lifting and moving boxes and buckets weighing up to approximately 40 lbs
- Assisting customers with loading their purchases into their vehicles
- Working safely with floral processing equipment and sharp tools
- Helping wherever needed to keep the warehouse running smoothly

- Comfortable interacting with customers when assisting with orders and loading vehicles
- English communication skills are required for this position. The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly in English with coworkers and customers, understand verbal instructions, and accurately follow written and verbal directions.
- Floral or plant knowledge is an asset, but not required
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
