Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled, stored, and prepared following food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your designated station and the overall kitchen area
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
- Serve dishes with attention to presentation and quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the sous chef or head chef
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation policies within the kitchen environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in serving, food preparation, cooking, or related roles within a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen operations
- Experience in the food industry with a focus on meal preparation and food safety standards
- Excellent skills in food presentation and meal assembly
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Banquet or catering experience is preferred
- Flexibility on shifts
