Position Overview: This is a full-time on-site role as a Retail Account Representative at UVALUX in Woodstock, ON. The role involves sourcing new business, providing customer support, ensuring customer satisfaction, leveraging analytical skills, and effective communication with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with mass retail accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for retail clients regarding product availability, promotions, and inventory
- Drive sales by ensuring product placement in key retail locations
- Collaborate with retail store teams to execute promotional strategies
- Provide product demonstrations, merchandising, and in-store support as necessary
- Monitor product stock levels at retail locations and coordinate with the supplier to ensure timely restocking
- Analyze sales data to forecast inventory needs and provide recommendations to clients
- Educate retailer on product features, benefits, and promotional offers
- Ensure proper merchandising of products in alignment with brand standards and retail guidelines
- Monitor competitor activity and report findings to internal teams
- Stay informed about retail trends and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies
- Prepare sales and inventory reports for both internal teams and retail clients
- Communicate feedback from retail partners to internal departments (e.g., marketing, production)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or diploma in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in retail or sales, preferably within the mass retail industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with retail management software is a plus
- Some travel required
