We are currently seeking a Production Coordinator to work with our Production Supervisor in our Canadian manufacturing facility in St. Thomas. This is a new role and an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience, computer skills, organizational experience and a high attention to detail, who is looking to grow their career in a stable and expanding company.

Your Role as a Production Coordinator:
You will be responsible for coordinating daily production activities along with the supervisor while maintaining timelines, the highest safety standards, quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities may include:
- Ensuring strict adherence to quality standards, sanitation practices, and health and safety procedures
- Coordinates with other departments to maintain smooth and efficient workflows
- Maintain a clean, safe and well organized production enviroment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality
- Monitor inventory levels and complete production and process calculations as required
- The organization, and pulling of inventory while following FIFO inventory practices
- Organizing calendars, and timelines for various production tasks
- Creating schedules for multiple programs, departments and daily production tasks
Qualifications that you bring to the position;
- Excellent verbal and written English is a must have, you will be double checking customer art files and accuracy is essential
- Reliable, dependable with the ability to be on time and ready to work daily
- Skilled in Excel, Word and Outlook (365). Experience with any Art programs is considered an asset. You will be queuing files and processing in the correct order for printing
- Able to keep timelines, prioritize tasks and organize calendars to meet those timelines
- High attention to detail with the ability to correctly distinguish various colours up close
- High attention to detail and accuracy for verifying art files and cutting art files to imprint plates. Training provided however detail oriented is a must
- An understanding of inventory practices such as FIFO and following SOP's. Able to read an order to organize and pull correct inventory
- Math skills such as counting, calculating chemical quantities and basic math for inventory and bin count tracking
- Some scheduling experience, creating staff schedules for daily, weekly production tasks
- Self motivated and results driven, both individual and teamwork ethics and skills
- The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Able to bring a positive attitude and desire to learn and grow in a new role
Experience:
- Production or manufacturing 1 year (preferred, not mandatory)
Job Type:
- Full-time Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 4pm
