SRG London is recruiting for a Controls & Automation Specialist for a global manufacturing client in Huron Park, ON. This role is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities (Not limited to):
- Lead automation and controls improvements across operations
- Support engineering teams during equipment design, installation, and commissioning
- Manage controls projects from concept to handover
- Troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, CNC systems, drives, and machine safety circuits
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Controls & Automation experience in manufacturing
- Strong PLC/HMI/servo/drive troubleshooting and programming
- Hands‑on robotics, conveyors, sensors, and assembly equipment experience
- Post‑secondary education in Controls, Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field
Preferred Assets:
- Experience with Fanuc/Siemens CNC controllers and CNC mechanical systems
- Ability to design power/instrumentation circuits and build control panels
- Knowledge of machining operations and SCADA systems
