Position Summary:
The Executive Assistant will report directly to the VP, Plasma Operations Canada and assist with the day-to-day activities of the company, including controlling priorities, communication, governance and follow through across the business. The Executive Assistant will also assist the VP, Plasma Operations Canada with financial management, company communications and administrative tasks.
Position Responsibilities:
- Acting as the point of contact among executives, donors, vendors, and other external partners
- Assists with inventory, purchasing, and vendor management to ensure departmental goals are met.
- Assists with operational evaluations and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Assists with the implementation of policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
- Assists with company communications including managing the company general inquiry inbox.
- Completes financial management duties as requested such as bookkeeping tasks, invoicing and assisting with donor compensation.
- Assist with owning and proactively managing calendar, meetings, travel and competing priorities.
- Coordination of leadership meetings, agendas, pre-reads and presentations. Ensure actions and decisions are documented and followed through
- Maintain an executive action tracker for key commitments, decisions, and deliverables
- Support preparation of monthly, quarterly business reviews, performance reviews and leadership updates. Coordinate information from Operations, Quality, Finance, HR, etc.

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- BA in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance or similar relevant field
- Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business and finance.
- Purchasing, inventory management, and administration experience is an asset
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills, detailed-oriented
- Time-management, multitasking and organizational skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range is $70,000 to $90,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package is available with coverage including health, dental, life insurance, long-term disability and a group retirement savings plan with RRSP match.
