Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Yard Attendant/Delivery Driver to join our Home and Agro team on a full-time basis at our location in Wainwright, AB. Reporting to the Lumber Manager . This position will be eligible for benefits including a matching pension following required waiting periods.
What you’ll do:
Work full - time hours (40 hours/ week) (Eligible for benefits after 3 months)
The focus of this position will be working in the yard at the Home Centre serving customers and assisting with all aspects of the yard duties
Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences
This position will also deliver and unload orders to customer locations in a timely manner
Receiving of products in the yard and in the store - including completing required paperwork
Operating a forklift
Follow proper maintenance and housekeeping duties
Able to work a variety of shifts – including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis
Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:
You have a grade 12 or combination of relevant experience; previous retail experience would be an asset
You have a valid class 3 driver’s license; a clean drivers abstract is required
You’re able to lift 50lb on a regular basis
