About the Role
Pentco Industries is seeking a reliable and versatile CNC Router & Production Process Technician to support multiple manufacturing departments. This is a hands-on production role requiring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and support various operations throughout the facility.
The successful candidate will primarily support CNC Router operations while also assisting in Vinyl/Thermofoil production, sanding, material handling, and other manufacturing areas as required.
Key Responsibilities
CNC Router Operations
- Operate and set up CNC routers (nested-based production)
- Load and run existing programs
- Perform tool changes and basic machine setup adjustments
- Monitor quality and material yield
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and alarms
- Maintain tooling and work area organization
Sanding & Door Preparation
- Perform manual sanding and finishing of MDF doors and components
- Prepare routed parts for downstream manufacturing processes
- Inspect parts for quality and report defects
- Maintain production quality standards
Thermofoil / Vinyl Process Support
- Assist in vinyl press operations
- Monitor press temperature, pressure, and cycle time
- Support the sanding and door preparation process
- Identify and report process defects
- Participate in material and tooling trials
Qualifications
- 2+ years of manufacturing or CNC router experience preferred
- Experience operating Biesse CNC routers in a woodworking environment is an asset
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- Ability to manage tool offsets and machine coordinates
- Understanding of vacuum table setup and material hold-down.
- Comfortable troubleshooting machine alarms and minor mechanical issues

Expected range:
$24.00 – $27.00 per hour
