We are expanding our sales team through the addition of a Sales Consultant to lead our growth. Operating from either Vancouver, Calgary or Toronto area, you will have the opportunity to join a team of technical sales professionals, and work with a company that has a proven history of leadership and innovation.

Our software solutions transform unorganized data into intelligent, actionable information that enables the smarter design, construction, operation, and management of industrial projects, including: oil & gas, power generation, AEC building infrastructure, metals & mining, shipbuilding, pharmaceutical, chemical, and consumer goods. Throughout the life cycle, we help connect field to office, EPCs with owner operators, and initial design through handover.
As a member of Hexagon PPM Canadian division reporting to the Vice President, Canada, you will be responsible for building new business across Canada, anticipating future challenges and proposing value-added technology-based solutions with a focus on the Oil & Gas (mid-stream), and Mining sectors. You will be mandated to generate sales growth by developing new leads and maximizing new business opportunities. The successful candidate can:
Develop and document territory/account plans that exceed sales targets, maintaining a strong pipeline
Lead activities in strategic account planning, and develop strategic alliances and partnership opportunities
Generate sales growth by maximizing opportunities in new accounts through effective prospecting in current core industries and emerging industries and markets
Demonstrated ability to successfully create new logos
Develop and sustain sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers on all levels of an organization
Lead and provide guidance to a team responsible for developing and delivering complex proposals
Create the business justification and financial models for clients
Negotiate financial terms and facilitate negotiations for contract terms and conditions
Develop and maintain appropriate industry contacts/networks
Actively seek knowledge of industry trends
Your Skills & Experience
10+ years of sales experience demonstrating career growth and consistent overachievement of quotas
8+ years of strategic and solution-based sales experience
Proven ability to sell and grow business in new accounts and/or industries.
Established history selling large multiyear and multi-element deals
Experience selling enterprise software solutions, and carrying a target quota of $1M+
Proficiency using CRM (such as SalesForce)
Strong business acumen and sense of urgency
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
A technical or engineering degree or diploma or equivalent industry experience
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in major project engineering and information management workflow.
