Overview
GGI Road & Traffic is seeking a motivated Product Support Technician to ensure our Intelligent Transportation System, including industry-leading solutions from Iteris, Lufft, Yunex are tested, installed, integrated, and supported to the highest standard of customer satisfaction. This role offers the chance to manage field test sites, troubleshoot complex network and hardware systems, and collaborate closely with our sales team to drive customer success. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Ensure that products supplied by GGI are installed and supported in a way that ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Duties include phone and field support, troubleshooting, maintenance and installation of all products, including but not limited to Iteris, Yunex, Lufft. Travel based on project requirements and as customer/management needs dictate.
- Product integration, testing, managing field test sites for new products and training as required. This role will work closely with area sales personnel, supporting all accounts as needed to maintain and grow the customer base.
- Willingness to learn about new equipment and obtain training.
- Possess effective troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis.
- Ability to demonstrate technical proficiency with multiple product offerings.
- Travel to the customer's site for field support and troubleshooting.
- Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Capability of maintaining own schedule and working with management on scheduling
- Strong interpersonal skills with customers, peers and co-workers and ability to follow instructions and detail oriented.
- Ability to work outdoors in hot or cold weather and no aversion to heights.
- Experience in a related field in a related capacity is an asset.
- Experience with Ethernet networking, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Experience with industrial control equipment and proficient with hand tools.
- Experience is preferred but recent graduate will also be considered. Graduate of electrical, electrical-mechanical discipline is preferred.
Pay: From $48,000.00 per year
