Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Desk Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with customers, and has an interest in construction or building materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers (in-person, phone, and email) with product inquiries, pricing, and order placement
- Prepare quotes and process sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and clients
- Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment
- Maintain product knowledge of drywall, tools, and related materials
- Handle customer issues and provide solutions in a professional manner
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or construction supply (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Basic computer skills (POS systems, email, spreadsheets)
- Knowledge of drywall or building materials is a must
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
