Position: Licenced 310T Mechanic
Department / Division: Garage/Workshop
Work Location: Mississauga, ON
Line Manager: 9:am to 7:00 PM / Payroll
Responsibilities:
- Conduct annual safety inspections and preventative maintenance inspections or heavy-duty trucks and trailers, communicating work completed and potential repair needs to the shop manager.
- Perform mechanical unit inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and replacements. Test and modify units to meet requirements.
- Determine necessary components for repairing dismantled equipment.
- Inspect braking systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other key elements to guarantee appropriate operation.
- Check and replace brakes, tighten nuts and screws, and reinstall equipment.
- Prioritize safety by following SJS Diesel Truck & Trailer Repair Inc. regulations and standards.
- Demonstrate dedication to fulfilling deadlines in fast-paced environments to maintain client satisfaction.
- Carry out any additional obligations that may be given.
Requirements:
- Fully Licensed 310T Mechanic.
- Minimum 3 years of experience required.
- Valid Driver's License with the ability to reliably commute.
- Commitment to personal safety and the safety of coworkers.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift while performing job duties
- Excellent time management and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.72-$43.34 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
