Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laborer/Site Supervisor to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, supervising labor crews, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will help drive project success from start to finish, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols, project timelines, and budget constraints. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction laborers on-site to ensure smooth workflow and safety compliance
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide daily operations and ensure accuracy
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or Primavera P6 for scheduling, tracking progress, and reporting project status
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets project specifications and industry standards
- Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency and reduce waste
- Use Bluebeam or similar digital tools for reviewing plans, marking up drawings, and collaborating with team members
- Monitor site safety protocols, enforce safety regulations, and conduct regular safety meetings with crew members
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in a construction environment with a strong understanding of site management principles
- Extensive construction experience with knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools
- Demonstrated ability to oversee quality control measures and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively on large-scale projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams and coordinate with subcontractors and clients
- Knowledge of construction best practices including schematics interpretation and construction sequencing
