Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, watering, harvesting, and general crop care to ensure healthy growth
- Operate farm machinery and power tools safely for tasks such as tilling, mowing, or material handling
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution across fields
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and farm infrastructure to keep everything in optimal condition
- Use hand tools for planting, pruning, or repair work as needed
- Handle heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or harvested produce safely and efficiently
- Support with general farm upkeep including fencing, cleaning, and organizing storage areas
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot farm machinery and power tools
- Experience with irrigation systems and basic horticultural practices
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks on farm equipment and infrastructure
- Familiarity with hand tools and heavy equipment operation for various farm activities
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating quantities, or managing inventory
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety protocols and detail-oriented tasks
