Automotive Sales Manager

Ken Sargent GMC Buick, one of Grande Prairie's most established and high-volume dealerships, is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team and help take our dealership to the next level.

What You'll Do:
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Manage all aspects of the sales process, ensuring exceptional customer experiences from initial contact to delivery
- Monitor sales performance, KPIs, and dealership objectives while implementing strategies to maximize profitability
- Assist sales consultants in closing deals, handling negotiations, and overcoming objections
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop sales staff to reach their full potential
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, dealership policies, and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with Finance, Service, Parts, and Marketing departments to create a seamless customer experience
- Analyze inventory levels and market trends to support effective inventory management and merchandising
- Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance sales culture
What We're Looking For:
- Previous automotive sales management experience required
- Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with dealership management and CRM systems (PBS, DealerSocket, VinSolutions, etc.) is considered a strong asset
- Strong understanding of automotive finance, inventory management, and dealership operations
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Exceptional customer service and conflict-resolution skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
