Position Summary
TAV College is seeking a qualified History Instructor to teach Modern World History during the Fall 2026 semester. We are looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated educator who is passionate about history and committed to providing students with an engaging and supportive learning experience in an in-person classroom setting.
This is an hourly paid position for a 60-hour course.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver course lectures and learning activities.
- Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and evaluate student performance in accordance with departmental standards.
- Provide timely feedback and academic support to students.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and grades.
- Participate in departmental meetings and other academic responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in History or a closely related discipline (or equivalent qualifications).
- Previous teaching experience at the college or post-secondary level is considered an asset.
