We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Administrative Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly as they arrive at the office.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls and scheduling appointments.
- Utilize Dentrix and Epic software to maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic medical records.
- Process patient information, including insurance verification and billing inquiries.
- Assist with the coordination of patient care by communicating effectively with healthcare providers.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment to enhance patient experience.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and managing correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies in a medical office setting.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office or as a dental receptionist is preferred.
- Familiarity with front desk operations, phone systems, and electronic medical records is essential.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Proficient in using office equipment and software applications related to healthcare administration.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining confidentiality.
