Regulatory Affairs is the department responsible for the registration of new products, new product indications and line extensions and for compliance to Health Canada regulatory requirements for drug products.
As a Regulatory Affairs intern, you will:
Assist in the preparation and compilation of regulatory submissions
Assist with the department’s effort to operationalize and improve critical departmental processes
Prepares submissions (e.g., NHP PLAs, DIN submissions, SNDSs, NCs, Level III notifications, Class II medical device applications/amendments, cosmetic notifications forms)
Prepares responses to regulatory body queries
Files various annual renewal packages to Health Canada
Performs assessments to resolve regulatory requirements for new projects
Reviews and approves packaging artwork and/or advertising materials
Complete environmental ingredient surveys under CEPA
Assists in audit preparation and provision of documents to auditors
Responds to requests for regulatory information from our safety organization to support preparation of aggregate safety reports (e.g., PBRERs)
Monitors and tracks communications and commitments to Health Canada
Maintains various regulatory databases/trackers
You should meet the following requirements:
You should be legally authorized to work in Canada
Currently pursuing an Undergraduate Science/Biological Sciences Degree
Completion of Post Graduate Regulatory Affairs Certificate (Hons. Standing)
Strong computer skills. Knowledge of databases and Excel
Strong science background
Project management skills and ability to prioritize multiple priorities
