Veterinary Receptionist (Part-Time)

As the first point of contact for our clients, you play an important role in creating a positive experience for every pet and owner who walks through our doors. If you enjoy building relationships, multitasking, and working alongside a supportive veterinary team, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Welcome clients and their pets with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with appointments, questions, and general inquiries.
- Schedule appointments efficiently while helping to manage daily clinic flow.
- Maintain accurate patient and client records within our veterinary software system.
- Process payments, invoices, and client transactions accurately.
- Assist with client communication regarding preventive care, medications, and veterinary services.
- Support the veterinary team by ensuring smooth front desk operations.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and inviting.
- Handle multiple tasks while maintaining exceptional customer service.
What We're Looking For
- Previous veterinary reception or animal care experience is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
- Comfortable working with computers and learning veterinary software programs.
- A team player who is dependable, positive, and eager to help.
- A genuine love for animals and dedication to providing outstanding care and service.
