Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Server and Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, efficient food and beverage delivery, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as per standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards are maintained at all times
- Manage guest interactions with professionalism, providing excellent guest services and addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and giving correct change
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, bar area, and dining spaces in compliance with sanitation standards
- Assist in food preparation when necessary and support kitchen staff during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently while ensuring quality service
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cashiering, billing, and upselling purposes
- Experience with food preparation and hospitality operations is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume service periods
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue generation
