At New Beginnings Rehabilitation, our goal is to assist clients with returning to an optimal level of independence under the direct supervision of a regulated health care professional. Our treatment plans and therapeutic interventions are practical and effective, taking into account the unique circumstances, abilities, and expectations of each client.We offer both Rehab Support and Personal Support services.

Currently Seeking:

Office administrator in the downtown Toronto area for 4 hour shifts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Hours are flexible between 8:30am-4:30pm.

Description of Role:

Office administrator contract position in Toronto, ON. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a rehabilitation team. High level of computer aptitude and accuracy to include MS Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Adobe Acrobat, and the Internet. Knowledge of MVA rehab, HCAI and databasesan asset.

  • Reception: answer phones and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Schedule and confirm clientappointments
  • Manage data entry and client files
  • Ensure consistent implementation of systems within the office
  • Process referrals and reports
  • Maintain and update the database
  • Process accounts receivables and payables, as delegated by the accountant/bookkeeper
  • Leadership qualities include a positive can-do attitude and a solutions-oriented approach to problems
  • Work to solidify clientrelations by timely and professionally handling clientconcerns
  • Provide administrative support to other team members as needed
  • Assist in developing and revising policies and procedures
  • Additional administrative tasks as required

In addition, ideal attributes include but are not limited to:

  • Previous experience in MVA rehabilitation
  • Previous experience working with those with acquired brain injuries
  • Minimum Bachelor’s education in a related field
  • Overall competency in working under pressure
  • Knowledge of home care services
  • Proficient in written and oral communications
  • Ability to speak a second language an asset
  • Intermediate computer skills

Hours:

Flexible hours between 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

(4 hours each day)
