Orange Dental Inc. is seeking an experienced, motivated, and patient-focused Principal Dentist / Clinical Lead Dentist to lead and support our growing Scarborough/Markham clinic location.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a dentist who is interested not only in clinical practice, but also in leadership, mentorship, team development, and long-term practice growth within a modern, technology-driven dental environment.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the clinical and operational success of the practice while working collaboratively with ownership, associate dentists, hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff.
Position Overview
The Principal Dentist / Clinical Lead Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care while also supporting:
- Clinical leadership and mentorship
- Treatment planning consistency
- Clinical workflow coordination
- Team collaboration and development
- Patient experience and quality assurance
- Clinic growth initiatives in consultation with management
This role is ideal for a dentist seeking a long-term leadership opportunity in a supportive and growth-oriented practice environment.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Provide a broad range of general dentistry procedures including:
- Restorative dentistry
- Crown and bridge
- Endodontics
- Extractions and emergency care within scope
- Preventive and comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients regarding treatment options and oral health
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Adhere to all IPAC, clinical documentation, and professional standards
Leadership Responsibilities
- Mentor and support associate dentists and clinical staff
- Assist in maintaining high clinical standards and consistency
- Collaborate with management regarding clinic systems, workflow, and operational improvements
- Support CDAnet administration and clinical coordination processes
- Foster a professional, respectful, and patient-centered team culture
- Contribute to long-term clinic growth and development initiatives
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental program
- Current registration and license in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario
- Professional liability insurance coverage (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Leadership, mentorship, and team collaboration abilities
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-based, and patient-focused dentistry
Experience with digital dentistry, Invisalign, implants, mentorship, or multi-dentist practice environments is considered an asset.
