Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or manual methods
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly as needed, adhering to food safety protocols
- Ensure cleanliness of tables, utensils, and service areas throughout the shift
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to assist guests effectively
Requirements
- Prior experience in serving or food service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including food safety standards and meal presentation
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with guests effectively
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of kitchen processes and food industry standards is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
